Thank you Jeffrey, I really needed to read your words. Having returned from my own retreat the glow has real faded but I know the learning and the encounter remain and something is still unfolding as long as I offer it space. And I love this 'Anyone who tells you the pilgrimage state survives ordinary life intact is selling something.'
For me, it is actually a discipline of pausing and allowing the space first thing in the day before anything else - and at brief moments throughout whenever I can. What have you found helped Jeffrey?
Kate, this is really helpful to hear. I find that journaling in the morning is really helpful, as it helps me get the monkey mind for the day ahead out and bring some sense of peace and balance, upon which the day can then proceed.

Thanks for this, Kate, and may the Glow continue!
Do you have any thoughts on how to extend it, even if that means scheduling personal check-ins?
